A new transportation corridor stretches 34km from Hong Kong Island to the site of the Hong Kong International Airport, incorporating a high speed rail system, two tunnels, two bridges and a six lane superhighway. Designed for the quick movement of millions of passengers, the Hong Kong International Airport has 288 checks in counters, 200 migration desks and 80 customs positions. The new Hong Kong International Airport also boasts 2.5km of moving walkways and about 120 shops.
